This painting shows a simple, peaceful scene — a countryside landscape viewed from an open window. I combined the calm green hills and distant red-roofed houses with a table setup in the foreground to create a sense of everyday comfort and warmth.

The red poppies in the vase add contrast and energy to the softer background tones. I chose strong colors like red, green, and yellow to balance calmness and brightness. The table, with two glasses and a slice of cake, adds a human touch — a suggestion of presence without showing a figure.

My goal was to bring together landscape and still life in one frame, focusing on color harmony and composition. It’s a moment of quiet observation — both familiar and slightly idealized.
